A storied life.

Born in Pakistan, I spent much of my childhood moving around, never spending more than a few years in one spot. College in the Bay Area was the longest I spent in any one area.

Because of my nomadic life, I’ve seen a lot and and it’s given me a unique perspective on life. This perspective is what aids me in my design work, trying to use non-conventional tactics to solve issues.

I got my bachelors degree in psychology, thinking that I would go into therapy to help people. If only life worked out that way. With my passion for helping people, I’ve found UX design to be the perfect medium for me to feel like I can really help others without bearing the emotional burden that comes with being a therapist.
